What Pragma is
Pragma is an AI relationship coach built for two people who are already together. Each partner talks with a coach for about 15 minutes a day, by voice or chat. Every session ends on one small thing to try.
Pragma is not a licensed therapist. It does not diagnose or treat, and it is not an emergency service. The domain name, aicouplestherapy.app, names the topic people search for, not what Pragma provides.
Who makes Pragma
Pragma is built and published by Monocubed, Inc., the publisher named on Pragma's App Store listing. Monocubed is part of Space-O Technologies.
Space-O Technologies is a software company founded in 2010 in Ahmedabad, India. It has built over 4,400 mobile and web apps for more than 1,200 companies.
Rakesh Patel is the founder and CEO of Space-O Technologies and Monocubed. Rakesh Patel's page shows how he is connected to Pragma. The day-to-day work is done by the Pragma Team, who build the app and write this site.
What Pragma does
- A daily session. About 15 minutes a day, by voice or chat, with a choice of four voices.
- Three coaches. Juno (Connection Coach), Aria (Clarity Coach) and Kai (Momentum Coach). They are coaches, not therapists.
- The Practice. 13 programs of 7 to 10 days, with one short task a day. See the programs in The Practice.
- The Journal. A private record of each session with its date, length and an AI summary.
- The Blueprint. Sessions, streaks and recurring patterns over time.
- Partner Activity. Once paired, each partner sees the other's completion, streak and exercise progress, never transcripts.
- Start alone. One partner can start, and invite the other later with an 8-character code.

The methods behind Pragma
Pragma's coaching is built on six well-studied approaches. They are the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The other three are Nonviolent Communication (NVC), attachment theory and positive psychology. Pragma uses their published concepts. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by the owners of any of these methods. Details are on the methods page.
Who Pragma is for, and who it is not for
For: couples who want a short daily practice for communication, reconnecting and repair. It also suits partners between or before sessions with a professional, and couples who prefer a language other than English.
Not for: abuse, fear of a partner, a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or a condition that needs treatment. In those cases, contact a professional or a crisis line. Pragma is also not a dating or matchmaking app.
Pricing
Prices are per partner, in US dollars, as listed on the Pragma pricing page. Every plan includes all of Pragma; there is no basic tier.
| Plan | Price per partner | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $19.99 a month | $19.99 |
| 3 months | $44.99 every 3 months | $15.00 |
| Annual | $119.99 a year | $10.00 |
Each partner starts a 7-day free trial on the web, with no card. Subscriptions are bought in the iPhone or Android app. Local prices and taxes are set by the App Store and Google Play. You cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Privacy and safety
- Transcripts, messages and intake answers are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, on top of encryption in transit.
- Transcripts are never shown to your partner.
- You can export or delete your data, as the privacy policy describes.
- Pragma scans conversations for signs of crisis, such as self-harm or abuse, and points to resources. It is not an emergency service.
In the US, call or text 988 at any hour, or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233. More helplines are on the crisis resources page.
