Delete Your Account

In short

You can delete your Pragma account and all associated data at any time — directly in the app in a few taps, or by emailing us if you no longer have the app installed. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

This page explains how to request deletion of your Pragma account (the AI relationship-coaching app by the Pragma team), what data is removed, what may be retained, and how long the process takes. It applies to accounts created in the Pragma mobile app and web app.

Option 1 — Delete your account in the app (recommended)

If you still have Pragma installed, this is the fastest way:

  1. Open Pragma and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll down to the “Careful zone” section.
  4. Tap “Delete account permanently”.
  5. On the “Delete account?” confirmation, tap “Delete account”.

Your account and its data are deleted immediately when you confirm.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can’t access the app (for example, you’ve uninstalled it), email us at aicouplestherapy.pragma@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete my Pragma account.” We’ll verify your request and delete your account. We aim to complete email-based deletion requests within 30 days.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription — subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the App Store, not by Pragma. To stop future charges, cancel your subscription in your device’s store settings (Google Play → Subscriptions, or App Store → Subscriptions) before deleting your account. Deleting the app alone also does not cancel a subscription.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data, including:

  • Your account and profile (email, display name, preferences)
  • Your conversations with the AI coach — voice and chat transcripts, summaries, and key insights
  • Your conversation memory and personalization data
  • Your intake/blueprint answers and exercise progress
  • Your partner connection (pairing link)

If you only want to clear your sessions but keep your account, the app’s “Careful zone” also offers “Reset all session data”, which deletes sessions, memories, and exercise progress while preserving your account and blueprint.

Deletion is permanent — no recovery

The data listed above is permanently erased from our systems when you confirm. This cannot be undone — there is no restore period, and if you return later you start with a fresh account.

The only records we keep are minimal billing records — for example a store transaction identifier and your subscription dates and status — retained where required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes and to handle refunds or payment disputes. Because your email and profile are deleted, these billing records are not linked to your identity or your conversations, and are not used to contact you. This is consistent with our Privacy Policy.
